Single Origin Coffees
Single Origin Coffees, also known as Varietals, are coffees that are imported from a single country. Like grapes for wine, Single Origin coffee flavor and cup profiles are resultant of the soil, climate, altitude, and other growing conditions of the country where they are grown. For example, Ethiopian Coffees have a rich, wild, winey character, due to the arid growing conditions in Africa. Indonesian coffees have a full-bodied, heavier earthiness best represented by the Sumatran coffees, typical of coffee grown in volcanic soil. Central and South American coffees are light and mild in character, having a pleasant flavor and aroma, wth some, such as Guatemalian & Costa Rican, being spicy due to their higher acid content. All of our Single Origin coffees have been hand selected by our buyers to offer you the best that each coffee producing country has to offer.
All our freshly roasted coffees are packaged in 1 pound ( 454 g.) heat sealed foil valve bags with re-closeable tin ties to preserve their freshness. All of our Coffee is Gluten-Free.
