Description
From the traditional tea ceremony, a simple ritual of preparing and serving tea – a tradition of altitudes was engendered first in China and later in Japan. In the daimyo, or samurai culture of Japan, warriors were also required to be poet-philosophers. Man was seen as a duality of opposite virtues, strength, and softness. The leaders shared their tea with respect for each person’s dignity and point of view. It was time to focus on small beauties, like a flower, a poem, a hand-thrown pot in an environment to concentrate in a tranquil mood. We see this duality in ourselves and perhaps solutions can be found and differences resolved over a quiet cup. Poet-Warrior tea is blend of Sencha tea from Japan and Gunpowder tea from China in a ying and yang blend. It is nothing, if not civilized. Contains Caffeine. 20 Foil wrapped tea bags in our classic white ribbon bag. 1.4 oz. (40g.)
